Little Black Candle Holders (Pair)

Small and slender black stoneware candleholders with a medieval charm.  Each has been glazed using the wax resist method of decorating - waxing the black areas to resist the coloured glaze. 

 

It would be a shame to split them up as they look so cute together so I am selling here as a pair.  Glaze colours are lavender blue and yellow.  The lavender blue has lost some of the glaze in the candle holder cup so this is reflected in the price - you can see some glaze is missing on the inside stripes.  Basically you are buying one and getting one virtually free.

While every care is taken to pack well, the fragility of ceramics does mean that breakages can occur in transit.  For this reason, I am more than happy for you to collect in person from my studio in SW London (Southfields/Wimbledon).  Just let me know before purchase.

 

Returns are accepted but at the buyer's expense and a refund will only be made once it has arrived back in perfect condition.  I cannot refund if the item arrives broken.  Always talk to me first because if there is a problem we may be able to resolve it to save making the return.
