Black Shino Bowl

Hand pinched, deep bowl with a foot ring and undulating rim made using chunky black clay.

A thick application of blue Shino glaze has been used inside and around the top of the bowl, trickling down as is its nature.  

Fully vitrified so it will hold water.  Probably better suited to a vase or plant holder than for food or purely for decoration.

 

To clean, wipe with a damp cloth.

While every care is taken to pack well, the fragility of ceramics does mean that breakages can occur in transit.  For this reason, I am more than happy for you to collect in person from my studio in SW London (Southfields/Wimbledon).  Just let me know before purchase.

 

Returns are accepted but at the buyer's expense and a refund will only be made once it has arrived back in perfect condition.  I cannot refund if the item arrives broken.  Always talk to me first because if there is a problem we may be able to resolve it to save making the return.
