Rosary Bead Necklace

Chunky black clay beads.  They are hand rolled and hung to dry.  The glaze is applied onto a white slip background and wiped back to let the black clay peak out here and there.  Each bead has a different design/patter scratched into the raw clay letting the back clay show through.

The beads are strung on a round 2mm leather thong which is adjustable with a slip knot technique.  The length is approx. 30-40cm and can be adjusted to lie on the upper chest or longer at the bustline.

Each string is unique and a one-off.  

 

While every care is taken to pack well, the fragility of ceramics does mean that breakages can occur in transit. For this reason, I am more than happy for you to collect in person from my studio in SW London (Southfields/Wimbledon). Just let me know before purchase.

 

Returns are accepted but at the buyer's expense and a refund will only be made once it has arrived back in perfect condition. I cannot refund if the item arrives broken. Always talk to me first because if there is a problem we may be able to resolve it to save making the return.
