Fat Vase

Stoneware vase with lemon yellow midriff which was treated with sodium silicate which allows the wet clay to be stretched and cracked.  The inside, yellow section and textured embellishment to one side have been glazed in a clear mtt.  Other black areas have been left unglazed.  

 

High fired for a fully vitrified finish/non-porous finish.

 

Diameter 10  cm top / 13 m base

Height approx 11 cm 

 

While every care is taken to pack well, the fragility of ceramics does mean that breakages can occur in transit.  For this reason, I am more than happy for you to collect in person from my studio in SW London (Southfields/Wimbledon).  Just let me know before purchase.

 

Returns are accepted but at the buyer's expense and a refund will only be made once it has arrived back in perfect condition.  I cannot refund if the item arrives broken.  Always talk to me first because if there is a problem we may be able to resolve it to save making the return.
