Painterly Bowls

Stoneware bowls decorated using staines and glazes overlaid several times to produce a finish that is more art than craft.  The main caerulean coloured glaze is my favourite and when mixed with satin matt glaze the finish is soft and smooth like a worn stone, particularly on the outside.

They are food and dishwasher safe but as the central swirl is gnarly and knobbly by design they may not work well with foodstuffs that might become trapped in the grooves.   You could use for sweet treats, nuts and nibbles or simply a decorative item to just behold.

 

Because I consider these bowls to be very unique and different, this is reflected in the price per bowl.

While every care is taken to pack well, the fragility of ceramics does mean that breakages can occur in transit.  For this reason, I am more than happy for you to collect in person from my studio in SW London (Southfields/Wimbledon).  Just let me know before purchase.

 

Returns are accepted but at the buyer's expense and a refund will only be made once it has arrived back in perfect condition.  I cannot refund if the item arrives broken.  Always talk to me first because if there is a problem we may be able to resolve it to save making the return.

 

Postage is based on weight and is calculated at checkout.  Price is based on delivery to mainland UK only.
