The Spotty Pot

Hand formed, straight-sided vase using a speckled grey concrete clay.  The inside and base are free of glaze for a smooth concrete finish.  The side lugs are textured and the circles have been made using wax and then the body is washed in iron oxide mixed into a satin matt transparent glaze which only shows where there was no wax i.e. in between the circles.  The lugs form little ladders because I always say ... one should always have a means of escape!!

Something a bit different for the pottery lover.

High firing ensures this piece is watertight and frost proof.

While every care is taken to pack well, the fragility of ceramics does mean that breakages can occur in transit.  For this reason, I am more than happy for you to collect in person from my studio in SW London (Southfields/Wimbledon).  Just let me know before purchase.

 

Returns are accepted but at the buyer's expense and a refund will only be made once it has arrived back in perfect condition.  I cannot refund if the item arrives broken.  Always talk to me first because if there is a problem we may be able to resolve it to save making the return.
