The Pink Bowl with Necklace

Hand pinched, deep bowl with undulating and textured rim made using chunky black clay.  

Part of the outside of the bowl has been left raw and unglazed to show the rough, chunky nature of the black clay.  This allows for a sharp contrast to the glazed areas on the rim and inside, which have been painted with a shiny translucent cherry blossom coloured, Celadon glaze.  The undulating ripped rim tops a band of beads and a row of textured spots.

 

When used as a votive/t-light holder, the shiny interior will twinkle.  

 

To clean, wipe with a damp cloth.

While every care is taken to pack well, the fragility of ceramics does mean that breakages can occur in transit.  For this reason, I am more than happy for you to collect in person from my studio in SW London (Southfields/Wimbledon).  Just let me know before purchase.

 

Returns are accepted but at the buyer's expense and a refund will only be made once it has arrived back in perfect condition.  I cannot refund if the item arrives broken.  Always talk to me first because if there is a problem we may be able to resolve it to save making the return.
